*Certified Phlebotomy Tech - Clinical Lab

Responsibilities
- Follows CA Codes (bpc: 1246); (CCR 1034) for phlebotomy work.
- Works with patients, collects samples for analysis, and reports to a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
- Performs clerical duties such as computer entry, filing, and telephone communication.
- May work independently or in teams, on any shift, and any day of the week.
- Demonstrates knowledge of laboratory terminology and good communication skills.
- Processes various types of specimens including microbiology, immunology, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and blood bank samples.
- Stocks and orders supplies, maintains cleanliness of storage areas, and safely moves around the facility.
- Completes special projects and other assignments within specified timeframes.
Qualifications
- Obtained Certificate of CPT 1 in the State of California.
- At least 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred, but new graduates are acceptable.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
Pay & Benefits
The current compensation range for this role is $25.70 to $25.70 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined during the hiring process, considering factors like skillset, experience, and qualifications.
