Certified Pharmacy Technician - Phone Support (Inbound)

About the role

This is a full-time, remote opportunity after an onsite training period. The starting salary is from $21.00 an hour and up, with a $3.00/HR shift differential for weekend schedules. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM MST in spring/summer, and shifts to 9:30 AM to 6 PM MST in fall/winter. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered for employees starting before August 31, 2026. Quarterly incentive bonuses and a $500 bonus for obtaining CPhT and/or CPhT-ADV credentials are also provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers and patients by phone, answering questions and requests.
• Communicate with patients and physician office staff to coordinate medication refill deliveries.
• Work with insurance companies regarding rejected claims and prior authorizations.
• Serve as a primary contact for calls to patients and physicians.

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numerals), brand and generic names of medications, and general pharmacy terminology
• Ability to input information accurately and efficiently
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills

Qualifications

• Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or required by state law
• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
