Responsibilities

  • Provide health and wellness services and experiences relevant to patients, consistent with state and federal laws.
  • Assist the pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment.
  • Deliver a stellar customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
  • Support the coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians.
  • Compound medications according to state and other regulations.
  • Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records.
  • Support non-dispensing services using various platforms, resources, and applications.
  • Complete all aspects of CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state, federal, and company policies.
  • Provide additional health and wellness services allowed by state and regulatory bodies.
  • Comply with and reinforce all sanitation, safety, and health code regulations.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding confidential information.
  • Report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
  • Maintain current national and/or state registration, certification, or licensure as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

  • Previous comparable experience as a pharmacy technician (desired).
  • Any equivalent experience in a related field (desired).
  • Support company health and wellness initiatives.
