Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient intervention by offering health and wellness services and experiences as allowed by and consistent with state and federal laws.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
  • Support company health and wellness initiatives.
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding confidentiality.
  • Maintain a current national and/or state registration, certification, or license depending on state requirements.
  • Assist pharmacists in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment.
  • Compound medications according to state and any other regulations.
  • Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records.
  • Support non-dispensing services through various platforms, resources, and applications.
  • Complete CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state and federal law and company policies.
  • Comply with and reinforce sanitation and safety regulations, identifying unsafe conditions and notifying management.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal regulations, reporting illegal activity.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure as desired.
  • Desired previous comparable experience.
  • Equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Knowledge of and ability to comply with HIPAA regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
