About the role
Easterseals Port Health Pharmacy is seeking a certified pharmacy technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service and pharmacy, with a preference for long-term care experience. This is a full-time position with hours between 8am-5:30pm Monday through Friday, closed for lunch from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm. Overtime may be available.
Responsibilities
- Taking and processing prescriptions
- Assisting patients with medication questions and concerns
- Ensuring accurate and timely medication distribution
- Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment
- Communicating effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Adhering to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in pharmacy
- One year of experience in customer service
- Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Preference for long-term care experience
