Certified Peer Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates competence in direct service work with individuals and or their family members.
  • Follow through on individual treatment plans and interventions.
  • Seek consultation and supervision in cases and participate in staffing for Peer referrals.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that all applicable services are authorized prior to rendering services.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified Peer Specialist or person with two years abstinence in recovery and eligible for becoming a CARES within a year.
  • Note: Some positions require a valid Georgia’s Driver’s License.
