Certified Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on schedule
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Maintain payroll records, reporting, and reconciliations
• Manage deductions, garnishments, and benefits-related payroll items
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
• Absorb and respond to audit requests and year-end reporting (W-2s, tax filings)

Qualifications

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification preferred
• 2–5+ years of payroll processing experience
• Experience with payroll systems
