Banner Health is committed to providing the finest care possible and advancing the way care is provided. The Torrington Community Hospital is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant for a Full-Time Night Shift position.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and hygiene needs
• Collects and documents vital signs and other patient data
• Processes patient records and makes face sheets
• Supports the admission process
• Performs receptionist/clerical duties to support department efficiency
• Maintains patient records and supplies
• Transports patients as needed
• Participates in OR room turnover

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Current BLS certification
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in state of practice

Qualifications

• Medical clerical experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy

Skills

• Basic electrocardiogram interpretation
• Effective human relations and communication skills
