Certified OR Technician PRN

Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to assist the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. The Surgical Technician will work in collaboration under the direction of the RN and Surgeon during surgical procedures.

What will you do in this role?

• Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments, and supplies needed for surgical cases
• Communicate and participate in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technician program
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous scrubbing experience is preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Surgical Technologist Certification (TS-C) is required (Tech in Surgery - Certified, or CST)
