About the role

Three Gables Surgery Center is seeking a Part Time Certified Operating Room Technician to demonstrate knowledge of strict aseptic technique to provide the safest most optimum care to each patient. To assure quality care of patient in the Operating Room. To assist the Surgeon with instrumentation and anticipate his/her needs. To provide care based on needs of individual patients including but not limited to adult, pediatric, adolescents, and geriatric.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of strict aseptic technique to provide the safest most optimum care to each patient.
• Assure quality care of patient in the Operating Room.
• Assist the Surgeon with instrumentation and anticipate his/her needs.
• Provide care based on needs of individual patients including but not limited to adult, pediatric, adolescents, and geriatric.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT).
• Experience in an operating room setting preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized CORT training program.
