- Current Louisiana licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

What You Will Do:
- Support and deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist, fostering patient recovery and independence in areas such as daily living, mobility, and vocational skills
- Deliver prescribed care tailored to age-specific needs and patient goals
- Adjust treatments with approval and assist in environment adaptations for patient progress
- Conduct patient and family education, including providing home programs
- Participate in assessments, reassessments, and productivity targets
- Maintain accurate documentation, including billing and patient records per department standards
- Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning
- Attend team meetings and contribute to discharge planning
- Assist in recommending equipment and supplies to enhance patient care
- Provide staff training and educational in-services as needed
- Rotate across clinical areas and attend mandatory meetings and continuing education for licensure
