Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Part-Time/Full-Time)

About the role

Support patient care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
• Document patient progress, treatment details, and maintain departmental records
• Administer modalities, exercises, and treatment procedures in accordance with policies
• Participate in departmental education and understand the needs of various age groups, from neonatal to geriatric
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by the supervisor

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a COTA
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• Preferred one year of experience; new graduates considered
