Job Summary
Aids patients/residents/clients in therapy activities and exercises as per a treatment plan, supervised by an occupational therapist. Implements and modifies therapeutic activities based on patient's/resident's/client's goals and settings. Shares information with and documents patient's/resident's/client's progress with the occupational therapist.
Qualifications
- Appropriate education level for state licensure
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice
- (Optional) Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant through NBCOT when working at Sanford Health Facilities
- Complies with supervision and licensing standards of the state(s)
- Valid driver's license (when applicable)
- BLS certification within six months of employment
