Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA / OTA Full Time

About the role

A full-time REHAB TEAM LEADER / Occupational Therapy Assistant, (COTA / OTA), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of rehabilitation services
• Ensure efficient and effective operations of the facility's rehabilitation department
• Provide therapy services to patients
• Provide clinical support, training and oversight of specialty programs within his/her specific discipline
• Plan and coordinate with other facility therapists in the implementation of programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
• Provide administrative supervision of therapists in the rehabilitation department

Requirements

• Under the direction of a Rehab Director
• Successful Rehab Team Leader
• Licensed Occupational Therapist or license eligible in the state where employed
• Experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
