About the role

A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Broad River Rehab is a skilled licensed therapist who performs direct care under the clinical supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The position offers flexible scheduling options including 4 (8-10 hour options) or 5-day work weeks.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist in developing and implementing occupational therapy treatment plans
• Conduct assessments to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient care activities and progress in medical records

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of employment
• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
