Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full Time)

Job Summary

Aids patients/residents/clients in therapy activities and exercises as per a treatment plan, under the supervision of an occupational therapist. Monitors and records therapy services for patients/residents/clients with various impairments, aligning with relevant standards. Assesses and documents patient's/resident's/client's responses to interventions and communicates with occupational therapists regarding outcomes.

Qualifications

• Appropriate education level for state licensure
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice
• Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant through NBCOT when working at Sanford Health facilities
• Complies with supervision and licensing standards of the state(s)
• Valid driver's license when applicable
• BLS certification within six months of employment
