Job Duties
- Contributes to evaluations and re-evaluations as delegated by the occupational therapist within 30 days of doctor’s order, and establish appropriate treatment goals.
- Provides therapeutic treatment according to each client’s established intervention treatment.
- Maintains complete, current, accurate and timely documentation for each client.
- Communicates with parents/guardians regarding their child’s progress.
- Maintains files and/or records in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist for the purpose of documenting activities and/or ensuring an up to date record of compliance with various state, federal, and administrative regulations.
- Communicates appropriate aspects of the client’s program to all involved persons and operates in conjunction with other disciplines and team members.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or associate degree in occupational therapy that is recognized by the AOTA required.
- Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Minnesota.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel independently throughout the metro area within a reasonable amount of time is required.

Compensation
Starting annual salary is $57,000-$63,000 depending on qualifications.
