About the role

Are you a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults while working alongside a compassionate and collaborative team? Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Pathways Omaha, located at 5755 Sorensen Parkway, Omaha, NE 68152. In this role, you will work closely with participants and the interdisciplinary care team to help older adults maintain their independence, improve their quality of life, and remain safely in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to participants of Immanuel Pathways under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Communicate participant progress to the Occupational Therapist.
• Document response to interventions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by ACOTE or a predecessor organization.
• Successful completion of supervised fieldwork experience required by the accredited educational institution.
• Successful completion of a nationally recognized examination for occupational therapy assistants.
• One (1) year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required, or completion of job‑specific training related to working with the elderly population must be completed within the first six months of hire.
• Six (6) months’ work or internship experience in acute, rehabilitation, or home occupational therapy.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable means of transportation.
