We're searching for an enthusiastic and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) who loves working with children and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, individualized occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Support children in achieving developmental, sensory, motor, and functional goals.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, ABA providers, and families to maximize outcomes.
- Document treatment sessions and progress accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding treatment goals and progress.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Maintain therapy equipment, treatment spaces, and clinic resources.
- Contribute to a positive, encouraging, and child-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Kansas COTA license (or eligible for licensure).
- Minimum 1–2 years of pediatric therapy experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass required background screening and drug sing.
