Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Facility: Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Boynton Beach, Florida • PRN shift • Up to $39/hour

About the Role

Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will support residents in regaining independence, improving functional abilities, and achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate residents’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Guide residents in mastering daily tasks and enhancing functional skills.
• Assist residents with hands-on activities to promote recovery from illness, injury, or health challenges.
• Maintain resident privacy and follow all healthcare regulations.
• Work closely with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Florida state COTA license required.
• Long-term care experience preferred, but not required.
