Our team works collaboratively to help patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities in a supportive and compassionate environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Absorb and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Instruct patients in therapeutic activities to enhance strength, coordination, and independence
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates or concerns to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Texas COTA license (or eligibility)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under supervision and independently
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred
