Certified Nursing Assistants (Skilled Nursing Facility) NOC

About the Role

Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. In this role, you'll build relationships, offer reassurance, celebrate progress, and help our residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home. We are particularly interested in candidates available for the overnight shift (11 PM – 7 AM).

Responsibilities

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support to help residents function at their highest level of independence, including:
  • Dressing, bathing, and grooming
  • Eating/feeding assistance
  • Bed mobility/positioning
  • Continence care/toileting
  • Behavioral support
  • Ambulation/wheelchair mobility
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition and function to the nurse immediately.
• Perform assigned tasks as directed by the Unit Manager.
• Complete C.N.A. documentation, including progress notes, meal/fluid intake percentages, bowel sheets, and ADLs.
• Communicate with residents, families, and co-workers using a pleasant and positive approach.
• Respect residents' rights to privacy and dignity.

Requirements

• Current State of Illinois C.N.A. Certificate.
• Current CPR Card.
