Certified Nursing Assistants (Skilled Nursing Facility) 7a-7p

Responsibilities

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence, including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.
• Perform assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Complete C.N.A. documentation, including progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADLs.
• Communicate with residents, families, and co-workers using a pleasant, positive approach.
• Respect Residents' Rights for Privacy and Dignity.

Requirements

• Current State of Illinois C.N.A. Certificate.
• Current CPR Card.
