Responsibilities

  • Learn about the different areas of care offered in an acute care facility.
  • Learn how to best care for the wonderful people served in the community.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years old or older.
  • Successfully pass the English, Reading, and Math Competency Test.
  • Pass Criminal Background and Drug Screen.
  • A passion for caring for people.
  • Personal integrity and ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and other personnel.
  • The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information.
  • Knowledge on the use of personal computers, Word, Excel, and working with office machines such as fax and copying machines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Schedule

Training includes 105 hours of state-approved training and clinical patient experience. Upon completion, the facility works to help place candidates in full-time or part-time positions.
