About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant II role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of relevant experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Certified Nursing Assistant I role.

• Sign-on bonus (limited time): $2,000 for 0‑1 years experience (full‑time), $4,000 for 1+ years experience (full‑time); $1,250 for 0‑1 years experience (part‑time), $2,500 for 1+ years experience (part‑time). Bonus prorated for part‑time hires; per diem hires ineligible. Current MaineHealth employees ineligible; former employees ineligible until >6 months separation.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.27 to $24.36 per hour. Compensation for part‑time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with scheduled hours and applicable FTE.

Schedule

36 hours per week, day shift consisting of three 12‑hour shifts; weekend call required.
