Certified Nursing Assistant - seasoned or no experience
About the role
CNA's work 12 hour shifts, 3 shifts per pay week, every other weekend (Sat-Sun) and every other holiday. Shift hours are 5a-5p, 5p-5a and 5p to 1a.
Compensation
We offer a competitive compensation package including full benefits such as health, vision, dental, pension, paid time off, holiday pay, and a quarterly bonus opportunity. First-year CNA starting pay is $19.50 and we honor years of experience up to $22 per hour. Hazard pay for direct healthcare workers is $3.40 per hour and a weekend premium of $2 more per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Training
We offer a paid in-house On-the-Job CNA Training Program which includes six weeks of training and mentoring. We also partner with DRM International Learning Institute in East Lansing to sponsor tuition for the Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program.
Qualifications
The CNA position requires basic nursing care and assistance in meeting the physical and emotional needs of residents and patients under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. Tasks include bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, transferring, positioning, checking weights and vitals, and reporting changes in condition to the charge nurse. We have our own Dietary and Housekeeping/Laundry Departments.
