Certified Nursing Assistant-PRN
About the role
Bishop Spencer is looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is passionate about patient care, helping others, and providing a superior quality of care.
This is a PRN (as-needed) position.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
- Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks.
- Assist with activities of daily living and care such as bathing, hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
- Anticipate the patient’s and family’s needs in a proactive fashion.
- Individualize and modify care according to the patient’s needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
- Support patient safety and satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds on the nursing unit and effectively communicating with all team members while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Missouri CNA license required.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
