Certified Nursing Assistant / Personal Care Aide - Part-Time Evening Shift

About the role

The Personal Care Aide provides hands-on care, both physical and emotional, to residents as outlined in their service plans. They ensure daily housekeeping and laundry tasks are completed. Additionally, they support residents by assisting in the dining room and participating in activities. Effective communication with residents and families, along with reporting any changes or concerns to the Director or Assistant, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist all residents with care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.
• Assist with meals, including setting up the table, serving, and cleaning up afterward.
• Answer help bells and take appropriate actions.
• Communicate and/or document any information regarding residents to the appropriate supervisor.
• Aid in housekeeping and laundry tasks for the resident.
• Contribute to general housekeeping duties for the home.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to prioritize and be flexible.
• Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in a resident's best interest.
• CNA certificate preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or work under the direction of someone at least 21 years of age.

Requirements

• Must be current on all vaccinations, including COVID-19, and receive CDC recommended booster doses.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour based on skills and experience. This position is non-exempt and overtime eligible.
