Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant - 10 or 12 Month

Summary of Job Duties

• Obtain patient history, vitals and other screening procedures to prepare patients for exams and procedures.
• Absorb and assist medical providers with set up for office procedures.
• Perform CLIA waived lab tests.
• Communicate effectively and function as a member of a team.
• Assist medical providers with office procedures.
• Obtain vital signs including manual blood pressure readings, patient history, and navigate electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• For Certified Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant I: Formal education equivalent of a high school diploma, certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant, at least six months of experience providing personal care to patients in a facility, home, or private services organization, or working in a direct customer service role.
• For Certified Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant II: All of the above qualifications, including certification as a Limited License Technologist (LLT) x-ray technician, and/or specialized training in areas of healthcare such as college health, primary care, urgent care, or GYN/Women’s Health, etc., beyond basic Certified Nursing Assistant and/or Medical Assistant certifications that are relevant to the roles and responsibilities of the daily job duties of the position.

• Salary Information: For 12 Month Appointment CNA/MA I: $36,300 CNA/MA II: $39,930 For 10 Month Appointment CNA/MA I: $30,248 CNA/MA II: $33,273 All salaries commensurate with education and experience.
