Certified Nursing Assistant - Nightshift Weekends

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the direction of the Registered Nurse. This position recognizes the needs and behaviors of patients of various age groups and provides care in a manner that is age appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the RN
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician
• Provide basic hygiene and grooming assistance
• Ensure patient comfort and safety
• Document patient care and interactions accurately
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions as required
• CPR (Heart Saver) certified within 6 months of employment
• State certification as a Nursing Assistant

Pay

Pay Range: $20.80 - $31.20 per hour

Schedule

• Nightshift: 6pm - 6am
• Weekends: Saturday and Sunday and one additional day of the week
• Holiday requirements apply
