Certified Nursing Assistant - Med/Surg Telemetry

Landmark Medical Center is a 214-bed acute care hospital in Woonsocket, RI, recognized for patient safety and clinical excellence. Originally established as "Woonsocket Hospital" in 1873, it serves northern Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for non-critical patients.
• Provide basic nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Maintain a safe environment in the Emergency Department.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintained per facility requirement.

Schedule

• Part-time (over 59 hours per pay period).
• Evening shift (8-hour shifts).
