Certified Nursing Assistant: Intern

About the role

Emplify Health, a partnership of Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, is seeking a casual/on-call CNA Intern to work in their Med/Surg department in Boscobel, WI. This position is open for a high school student who is or will be participating in a youth apprentice program through their school.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic care of patients under the general supervision of an RN in the acute hospital setting.
• Transport and transfer patients within the medical complex in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist with data collection to facilitate the delivery of delegated nursing care.

Requirements

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
