About the Role
Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing seeks Weekend Warrior CNAs who can provide high-quality care to residents while building meaningful connections. The role emphasizes teamwork, positivity, and dedication.
Responsibilities
- Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
- Take and record patient vital signs.
- Lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
- Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager.
- Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
- Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
- Demonstrate the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
- Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.
- Must be able to pass a Drug Screening.
