About the role
You know better than anyone that CNAs are essential members of a facility's medical team. Your role is to keep patients comfortable and on the road to recovery. Here are a few things you might do:
Responsibilities
- Prepare rooms for admissions.
- Auxiliary patients with activities of daily living.
- Document a patient's health issues/vital signs and reporting to the Nurse on Duty.
- Auxiliary nursing teams to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A valid CNA license in the state of Kentucky.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficient in basic medical terminology.
- Knowledgeable in patient care procedures.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
