Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)- Per Diem - Days/Nights

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. CNAs play a vital role in delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers, assisting transporters with moving patients
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant)
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an RN program preferred
