About the role

The Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Care Center in West Fargo is seeking CNAs to join their team. Positions are available for Part-Time Evening (PM) Shifts, offering 16 hours per pay period from 2pm-10:30pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized attention to encourage residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
• Carry and follow assigned resident care plans, assisting with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, etc.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents.
• Interact with residents with warmth and compassion.
• Follow policies and procedures related to the safety of residents, others, property, and oneself.
• Report any incidents of abuse, neglect, or violations of residents' rights promptly.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean environment.
• Answer residents' call lights and alarms promptly.
• Perform tasks such as checking vital signs, residents' weights, applying lotions, etc.
• Lift, move, and transport residents using appropriate equipment as identified by the care plan.
• Absorb and escort residents for appointments and activities, as needed.
• Document and record care provided and other pertinent information.
• Follow proper safety and infection control procedures.
• Assist with resident's personal laundry as needed.

Requirements

Essential requirements include a current North Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.

Qualifications

Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others, and a compassionate approach to caregiving are key.

Pay

The pay range for CNAs is $22-$24.64 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available.

Schedule

Part-Time Evening (PM) Shifts are offered, with 16 hours per pay period from 2pm-10:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays.
