About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

• Sign-on bonus available for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Bonuses range from $2,500 for 0 - 0.99 years of experience to $4,000 for 1+ years of experience.
• Candidates hired into a Full or Part-time CNA position receive the bonus amount prorated.
• Part-time hires are eligible for the bonus, while per diem hires are ineligible.
• Eligibility criteria: Must be a current MaineHealth member employee or a former member with more than 6 months separation from employment.

Schedule

• Med Surg 3 (MS3) operates on a 2, 12-hour shift schedule.
• Shifts run from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM every third weekend.
