About the Role

CorrectHealth is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team in Davant, LA. We provide high-quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare within correctional facilities across Georgia and Louisiana.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Medical Assistant certificate or diploma, military documentation from an approved program, current EMT certification, CNA certification, PCT certification, or proof of active enrollment in an approved school of nursing

Responsibilities

• Participate in the clinical aspect of patient care alongside the healthcare team and law enforcement
• Perform duties under the supervision of a Paramedic, LPN, RN, HSA/HSC, Midlevel Provider, or Physician in compliance with state regulations
• Provide care to the inmate population and respond to needs within the correctional environment
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times
