Responsibilities

Reporting to the Shift Manager of the assigned area, the Nursing Assistant (NA) performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)/Charge Nurse. Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Nursing Assistant scope of practice.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required, or current 2nd semester nursing student when hired or transferred into position
• 3 months skilled nursing or hospital experience preferred
• High School graduate preferred

Physical Demands

• Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking
• Lift/position up to 50 lbs
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs of force
• Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
• Manual dexterity and mobility
• Ability to move quickly

Pay

$25.00 hourly. Individual wages are determined based upon qualifications and experience.
