CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) - ILLINI

Pay rate: $18.16 - $24.52 per hour, based on relevant experience.

About the Role

Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support, and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; or, at least 16 years of age with an active C.N.A. certification
• Good verbal communication skills
• Must be one of the following:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A)
  • Patient Care Assistant (PCA)
  • Student Nurse Aide (SNA)
  • Patient Care Technician (PCT)
• For C.N.A, PCA, or SNA roles, must have completed one of the following:
  • Patient care experience
  • A C.N.A. program
  • At least the sophomore year of a nursing program

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing on the state Nurse Aide Registry
• Certified Medical Assistant
• Emergency Medical Services (EMS) certification

Pay status: Non-exempt hourly.
