About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Responsibilities

  • Care for a diverse patient population in a supportive environment as an integral member of a collaborative team of highly trained staff.
  • Support care needs of higher acuity patients in the R6 IMC unit.
  • Collaborate with Nurses and Patient Care Technicians to support patients' needs and ensure high standards of care.
  • Work closely with students and other learners in a supportive teaching environment.

Requirements

  • Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
