Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA I)
About the role
This is a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA I) position located in Highland Lakes and Palm Harbor, FL. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $15.50 to $19.25 per hour plus shift differential, and flexible scheduling options.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily needs, including answering call lights, bathing, dressing, and ambulation
- Support charge nurses by taking vital signs, repositioning bedfast residents, and assisting with treatments and examinations
- Help manage meals by escorting residents to the dining area or delivering meals to their rooms
- Maintain resident safety and follow infection control protocols
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Active Florida CNA Certification
- Active CPR Certification (preferred)
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, visitors, and other team members
- Applicants must be able to produce a negative drug test
Qualifications
One to three months related experience and/or training is required.
