Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA)
About The Role
Care Options for Kids is dedicated to providing high-quality care with integrity and compassion. We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs) who share our vision.
Responsibilities
- Perform all personal care activities as outlined by the Registered Nurse (RN), including assisting with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, and physical transfer.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment by performing light cleaning and straightening tasks such as bathroom cleaning, sleeping and living area maintenance, washing dishes or laundry, and ensuring cleanliness and safety for the patient or client.
- Measure intake and output of fluids, and take temperature, pulse, respiration, or blood pressure readings.
- Keep detailed records of personal health care activities.
- Monitor and report on the patient or client's appearance and behavior, and communicate any significant changes to the Registered Nurse (RN).
Requirements
- Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in home care is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current, valid Pennsylvania CNA license or a 75-hour HHA certificate is required.
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF) is mandatory.
- A valid driver's license is required.
