Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full Time PMs. Eventide Jamestown Care Center!

About the role

Eventide Jamestown Care Center is hiring Full Time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to work 64-80 hours per pay period. Shifts are available from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with every other weekend and holiday rotation included.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized attention to encourage residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
• Carry and follow assigned resident care plans.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, etc., as indicated on resident care plan.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each resident.
• Interact with residents with warmth and compassion.
• Follow policies and procedures regarding the safety of residents, others, property, and oneself.
• Comply with rules and regulations set by the North Dakota Department of Health and CMS.
• Report any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violations of residents' rights promptly.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean environment.
• Answer residents' call lights and alarms promptly.
• Perform tasks such as checking vital signs, residents' weights, applying lotions, etc., as required by the care plan.
• Lift, move, and transport residents using appropriate equipment as identified by the care plan.
• Absentee residents for appointments and activities, as needed.
• Document and record care provided and other pertinent information.
• Follow proper safety and infection control procedures, including handwashing, glove use, disposal of soiled materials, etc.
• Assist with resident personal laundry as needed.

Requirements

To qualify, candidates must have a current North Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.

Qualifications

Experience is preferred but not required. Eventide Jamestown Care Center offers training and support for new hires.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and a compassionate attitude are essential.
