Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time - Days - Eventide Prairie Commons

Eventide Prairie Commons Care Center in Grand Island is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Schedule

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (8 hours)
• Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday rotation)

About the Role

The CNA assists in providing for residents’ physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs in accordance with established nursing care procedures under the supervision, guidance, and teaching of the supervisor in charge.

Ideal Candidate

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence
• Assists with resident admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation
• Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/overlapping resident/caregiver/team/manager needs, call lights, when necessary
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of team member preference
• Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual resident
• Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by ensuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times

Pay

Competitive starting pay range of $18.00–$20.16 per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
