Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time Day (AM) Shifts. Eventide Sheyenne Crossings!

Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Care Center in West Fargo is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) for 72 hours per period. Day (AM) Shift (6AM-2:30PM) available with various weekdays, every other weekend, and a holiday rotation. Weekend shift differentials (+$2/hour) are offered.

About the Role

The CNA assists in providing for residents’ physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs under established nursing care procedures and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized attention to encourage residents’ ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
• Carry and follow assigned resident care plans at all times.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, and range of motion as indicated on the care plan.
• Maintain residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity with warmth and compassion.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to protect residents, others, property, and yourself.
• Comply with rules and regulations from the North Dakota Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
• Understand and uphold residents’ rights, including freedom from restraints, abuse, and neglect; report incidents promptly.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean environment.
• Promptly respond to residents’ call lights and alarms.
• Perform tasks such as checking vital signs, recording weights, and applying lotions.
• Lift, move, and transport residents using gait belts, one-person/two-person transfers, Hoyer lifts, or standing lifts as identified by the care plan.
• Assist and escort residents to appointments and activities as needed.
• Document and record care provided and other pertinent information.
• Follow proper safety and infection control procedures, including handwashing, glove use, and disposal of soiled materials.
• Assist with resident personal laundry as needed.

Requirements

• Current North Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant license.

Pay

Competitive pay range of $22–$24.64 per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions.
