About the role

The Select Medical Rehabilitation - Tallahassee unit is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Bathing using basin-less bath products
• Oral hygiene and oral feeding
• Care of hair
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers
• Assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)

Pay

$17.23 - $21 per hour (based on experience) plus shift differential for night and weekend shifts

Schedule

Full Time, 12hr shifts, Day and Night shift positions available
