Responsibilities
- Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
- Provide patient care within the limits of the CNA position; do not administer medications or therapy.
- Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines in all duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: none required; two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.
