About the role

Silver Birch of Michigan City is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their Clinical Team. This role involves providing hands-on care and daily support to residents, ensuring they feel comfortable, respected, and cared for.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meals
• Provide personal care with kindness, dignity, and respect
• Respond to call lights and resident needs promptly
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nurse or Wellness Team
• Document care and services in the electronic system
• Offer friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and team members

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Current CNA license in good standing
• Strong customer service skills and a caring attitude
• Experience in healthcare or assisted living is helpful

Qualifications

• Passing a background check
• Valid driver’s license (if required for transportation)
