About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The CNA performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.
Responsibilities
- Floating between Medical-Surgical Units with a focus on Cardiac and Post-Surgical diagnoses.
- Gaining or building upon a broad range of clinical skills and knowledge base.
- Providing care to patients with various acuity levels.
- Assisting with patient activities of daily living.
- Reporting observations and changes in patient condition to the RN.
- Participating in ongoing education and skill development.
Requirements
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required.
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Pay
- Sign-on bonuses available for CNAs with 0-1 years of experience ($2,500 full-time) and 1+ years of experience ($4,000 full-time).
Schedule
- 24 hours per week.
- 2, 12-hour shifts per week.
- Every third weekend.
